Research and editorial methodology

How SMM Africa distinguishes planning guides, original sources, estimates and measured results.

Sources and definitions

Use the original publisher for platform rules, payment documentation and published statistics. Record the source URL, publication date, reporting period, geography, unit and limitations. Separate people, accounts, advertising reach and transactions. Vendor claims remain attributed claims until independently substantiated.

Africa and global coverage

Give African and global evidence equal editorial attention. Compare the same metric and period across regions, disclose unavailable countries, and never substitute a country name into an unsupported statistical claim. Mobile-money activity is payment context, not a measure of SMM-panel demand.

Service observation reports

A service report needs a complete dated cohort, explicit exclusions, an observation cutoff, and reconciled order records. Publish unresolved and partial cases alongside completions. Completion timing applies only to completed orders with valid timestamps and must include its sample count. Refill rates need eligible orders with a stated follow-up window. Suppress small groups, omit customer identifiers, and distinguish reported status from independently observed retention. No service-performance report is published until these checks are supported by evidence.

Original data and examples

A page is a planning guide unless it explicitly publishes data with a sample, method and limitations. The catalog price snapshot publishes dated observations of our own public listings, with exclusions and downloads; it is not a representative SMM-market survey. Calculators use the values supplied by the reader. Worked examples are labeled illustrative. No verified customer success study is currently published by these guides.

Compare equivalent offers

Record a dated service ID, platform, service type, audience, refill period, quantity, currency, quoted total and payment fees for each supplier. Unknown fees prevent a complete price comparison. A lower published cost does not establish better fulfillment or retention.

Updates and corrections

Check volatile claims against the current source before publication. Change a reviewed date only after checking the page. Corrections should identify the affected statement, original source and what changed. SMM Africa's content team receives correction requests through Contact us; no independent editorial review is implied.
