A first reseller order should demonstrate a complete workflow: authentication, funding, a deliberate purchase, a status check, and a clear response if something goes wrong. Connecting an API alone does not confirm that your selling price or customer process is ready.
Connect without placing an order
Begin with the current SMM.Africa API documentation. Keep the API key on your server and use the authentication and balance examples first. Do not put the key into a public page, client report, screenshot, or support message. A balance check helps establish access without submitting a paid order.
Reconcile the two balances
Your client pays your business under your own arrangement. Your SMM.Africa wallet pays for fulfillment. Collecting customer money does not automatically fund that wallet. Before accepting an order, understand the funding method, conversion, fees, and balance needed to cover it. Keep a record linking your client reference to the eventual order ID.
Choose and price the test deliberately
Use a target you control and a quantity within the listing limits. Read the target requirements and remedy conditions. Include foreseeable payment fees, refunds, and support work in your selling-price calculation. The markup and margin guide explains why a percentage added to cost is not the same as a profit margin.
Submit once, then inspect
The add action spends wallet balance. Save the returned order ID and use status requests to follow it. If a request times out, check whether the original order exists before sending another paid request. Follow the documented idempotency mechanism where supported, retaining the same request identity for a retry of the same operation.
Prepare the exception path
Know how you will handle a pending payment, delivery discrepancy, eligible refill, cancellation request, and client reimbursement. A reported completion is not independent proof of delivery, and a wallet refund is not a client repayment. Share only the status you can support with records.
Work through the SMM.Africa reseller walkthrough, then verify the real payment and order outcomes in your account. The guide itself does not submit an order or charge the wallet.
